Creative Professionals Wanted

San Leandro is a city where innovation and creativity are encouraged.  Station SL was envisioned to be a place where creative minds could congregate and collaborate.  Designers, architects, landscape designers, animation, marketing, branding professionals, artists, job coaches, illustrators, and other makers are people who will thrive in this environment.

Station SL is a place where creative professionals can gather.  We have a space perfectly situated for meetings, workshops, planning retreats, and events.  The vibe is clean and crisp, with enough space to collaborate in small groups or give presentations or workshops.  Furnishings are flexible, internet speeds are fast, and the location is convenient to most of the East Bay.   We offer an intimate conference room with whiteboards and a smart monitor.  We have a small meeting room for intimate discussions.  Reserve a meeting space or the entire public area.

Station SL also houses the office headquarters of Shannon Leigh, a woman-owned, environmental graphic design firm.  Shannon Leigh is an example of local business keeping their growth local.  When the company started in San Leandro over 7 years ago, it was a team of two.  Shannon Hackley, the company principal, was determined to stay in San Leandro, keeping the connections to the community and committing to bringing a design-focused company to the downtown area.  Shannon and her team are also active in the local schools and community, volunteering with various school programs and in various organizations throughout the Bay Area.  Now the company has headquarters in San Leandro and a branch office in Sacramento. Although Shannon bought the building to accommodate her company's growth, she also opened Station SL as a place for the community to collaborate.
